they're trying to get personal and fin info under the pretense of finalizing a loan. they leave (866) 398-2896 as a callback number but actual caller id is spoofed to a different number each time.

caller unknown came up left message they were going to serve me papers that day and I needed to be home... called back from a different number and they said they were a mediation firm but never served me papers

Received call on my cell phone from an unknown number and directed to call 866-886-2896. Unpleasant people full of threats and ultimatums who identified themselves as a mediation firm and the company as WRS Associates in New York. Despite claiming to be looking for mediation, they threatened to serve me with papers at work (in front of my supervisor) and at home and that I had better be available between 12 and 3. Also that I needed to have an adult of legal age present as a witness.

Well did they serve you any papers? i got the same call except they called my mothers house.

They called me....tried to verify my identity, wrong address to start off with, I let them know that they have the wrong person and they start threatening me and letting me know I would be served with papers this afternoon. I told them go ahead....I don't live at the address you provided me with to verify my identity.

This place has called my cell all day looking for someone I do not know. She will not stop calling, is rude and calls 'unknown' which will not allow me to block these calls.

I have got the same call and the message is word for word verbatem my mom got the call looking for me word for word so did 2 other family members word for word so I assume it is a robo recording and if you actually answer they somehow try to get info If they are a debt collector I have never in my life ever been contacted like this normally it would be a letter first then a phone call saying that they are a debt collector not a local carrier something seems fishy

This guy named Timothy Holtz called, letting me know that he was on my way to my home in the next hour, and that if I do not make myself available, they will contact me family members in order to locate me. First of all, I have been served before. Not once did anyone contact me to tell me they were coming over to serve me. If someone was to serve me, why would they want my signature or someone to be a witness to my signature. when someone is served, you ask their name let them know you just served them and leave. This is a total scam. Funny!

Got a call from Sara Wilson. Same threats called the 866 number back advised I contacted police they said their company is new to that number and will be investigating because it sounds like a scam and advised me to not answer my door to anyone. They are thinking their system got hacked. I don't even live in the state they have on file and they didn't push for new address. Also advised the people listed as called others don't work for them. Hopefully this all stops
