My wife was contacted by a blocked number with threats of being served court papers on an unpaid debt. The 866-886-2896 was the number left to contact. Company said was WRS & Associates. That's not how the debt collection process works. The direct number is 716-562-3706. SCAM ALERT.
Called my number 3 times, blocked calling wanting my daughter. Said had legal documents to serve her. Told them she wasn't in town. They said she needed to be there or papers would go back as refusal to sign. Told check back next week when she comes back. Let their number 866-886-2896.
I found this post by searching for WRS Associates. I also received a call from someone claiming to be WRS Associates in New York. They referenced a different phone number. 844-251-2709 I looked them up. I could not find an attorney with this name. I only found Builders in New York. I have no idea what the call is about because I do not verify anything over a telephone with someone I do not know. I do not owe any debt to anyone, so these posts help me know its a scam or mistake. Thank you all for posting.

Won’t give up I never answer but they keep dialing it up. Irritating, say it’s debt collection and city says Dallas.
