It is National Rifle Association. Before this call today I have already blocked 4 different numbers that called from the National Rifle Association.. Now this number will be blocked. Thank God for unlimited blocking.

Since some posters argued it was from NRA, the debt collector, I decided to dial the # and verify who the caller was. The recording said it was National Rifle Association and since it missed us, would call us back in a few days to update us on its activities. Actually, I answered the call a few days ago and it was from a live male. I hanged up before he could reply. My husband said NRA would not do phone solicitation, so, I let him listen to the recording and that settled the argument. Am tired of these kind of phone harassments. Getting out of my chair to check caller ID is a chore for me at times since I have health issues.

Saw this number on my caller ID today! It's Sunday! Called back on my cellphone. No answer! Then, they called back on my cellphone 10mins later. Came up as Unknown. I once belonged to the NRA. I don't think they would be that inconsiderate. Unscrupulous Telemarketers use all kinds of scams to phish out personal info! Ever get a call from your home phone number or 000-000-0000?

Telephone caller ID displayed NRA. I'm a member of The National Rifle Association so I answered the call. A man asked to speak to Karen, my ex-daughter-in-law. I ask him who he was with and he told me the NRA. I asked him what NRA stands for and he said the National Recovery Associates (a debt collector). I asked him why he wished to speak with Karen. He told me it was about a pass due credit card account.balance and he would like to work out a repayment plan with her.. Told him "Good luck finding her because I've not seen her in over ten years", then I hung up the phone. Please note.. these people want to get your credit card number, so sometimes they represent themselves as being with the National Rifle Association looking for donations. They are a boiler room type operation with the operators getting a small cut of the money they can get from people. So be ware of them, they will say about anything to get your credit card information. If you have any doubt then here is the actual phone number of the real National Rifle Association 800-672-3883. They never use the 855, 866, 877, or 888 toll free prefixes

People you should never call the number back, Their computer will log your return call phone number, and that confirms that your phone number is active. These people are slick. They forward the return calls to a server that plays a false National Rifle Association message trying to convince you that they are the actual NRA. That way when they call you next time maybe you will answer their call. They know that the only way they can trick you into giving them you credit card number is if they talk to you. BEWARE. They will do anything to get you credit card number.

I wonder what the odds of two people posting basically the same thing within 19 minutes of each other are. I think you are anti gun people trying to deflect people from giving money to the NRA to fight your subversive activities at circumventing the Bill of Rights. The NRA does use other numbers to call people. So it that is a lie, I'm guessing that Tommy T isn't really a member.
