Why is everyone so mean spirited about all of this?

This is NOT the National Rifle Association, it is a scam trying to harass people into canceling NRA memberships. Don't be fooled .

Now it's a spoof of Verizon wanting credit card info to update account since your card expired.

Just received a call from 1-877-210-3463. After reading all the comments, I decided to call the number back. A recording picked and the man said "Thank you for calling the National Rifle Association. We are sorry we missed you." At that point I hung up.

This number just called my home and the man on the line tried to ask me my husband's name and I would not tell him. He then asked me if I am the spouse and tried to get me to say YES. I knew better than to say it. The caller id said Toll Free Call. These idiots need to stop bothering people. Never say Yes to them, they can record your response and hard to tell next what they are up to.

I called the number back - 877-210-3463 - their recording said "thank you for calling the national riffle association, sorry we missed you". Our phone company, Charter, allows you to block 48 phone numbers. We are maxed out - thank god we have Panasonic phones and those allow us to block an additional 50 numbers. I have added this to the blocked numbers.

You come across as such a dipsh*t. Everything is liberal vs conservative except for nerds like you. Go lay by your dish. Good boy!

Stop calling my number

Someone called looking for my son and as he has all his calls directed to his cell I called the number back and the recorded message I received was...........You have reached the National Rifle Association so sorry we missed your call (he is a member) so those who say they don't make solicitation calls are mistaken.
