My contract is up in two weeks, so I assume it's the retention call to get me to re-sign. Happy with the phone (and the service - surprisingly). Will most likely stay on month to month.BTW, for people who are complaining about 'people' calling them and not answering, this is not the case. Most call centre's use an auto dialer system. Your number is programmed into the system and it calls on a random basis. Agents logged in at their workstations don't even know who they are going to be speaking with until the account info appears on their screens as the phone begins to ring. There is a delay after you answer the phone but it should not be more than 10 seconds - 30 seems a bit high (if thats the case their system sucks). You get this kind of thing with EVERY telemarketing call. It's far more efficient for the company to use auto dialer than have agents calling manually.

Been getting calls from this number and also from 403-387-5750 which apparently is also Telus. My cell contract is about to expire so I'm pretty sure that's why they're bugging me.
I'm in the Telus post-contract stage and looking for any other provider to offer me an incentive to dump the turkeys. They didn't bother to come on the line when they called, and I waited 30 seconds prepared to lecture them not to bug me. They didn't give me the chance, so I googled the number and here I am. Glad to compare notes with others.
Just got a call on this number too. I never pick up unknown numbers so I came online to see who it could be. Sounds like it could be Telus (from other posts) because my phone plan is FINALLY done at the end of January! :o)

Same company from Edmonton has been calling saying they are Telus, phone search indicated scan and blocked, now calling from BC saying they are Telus. Blocked this number also.
They are trying to get me to sign up for some bogus 'home maintenance coverage' for my reverse mortgage.

The voice message came from another county, didn't give a clear name for their business, why they were calling, nor address did they address me by name. So I'm assuming it was a spam pfishing expedition of some sort.

I called my corporate office this morning inquiring about a totally unrelated topic. The corporate office asked me if the best call back for me was 847-383-4985… obviously incorrect as my number begins with area code 214 located in Dallas, TX.
