I got a call from them today also..but no one said anything when i picked up.. I am a client of Telus, so i guess it was them calling..My phone bill is over due =(
This stupid number keeps calling and i always miss it or it only rings two times....since its telus maybee i don't want to pick up...they charge you for everything, i'm surprised they didn't charge me for talking too loud on the phone...
I also got a call from this number. They did not leave a message, which is quite annoying. I am also a Telus customer, but I did pay my bill....hmmm....
If it's a retention call then they can eat my [***].I'm moving over to Rogers. I have a blackberry and Telus was never helpful in getting me upgraded to a new 8830. They offered me a bunch of extra airtime and stuff, but I just wanted a new phone.I'm getting a Blackberry Curve with Wi-Fi from a friend for $200 and Rogers offers the exact same plan as I'm on now plus a few extra features.Telus really disappointed me with their willingness to give me what I want. They wanted $300 for an 8830 plus $400 deposit because it has the ability to be used overseas.... this is what they give me after being an almost 5 year customer who has spent close to $6,000 with them.
I received a call from this number while taking a crap. After reading these posts, I regret not answering. my plan is also coming to an end
Hmm.....I just got this number called on my cellphone TWICE today, and once right after on my home number........I am on a Rogers pay as you go, but I also have a Telus acct, which expires in June.. I just found it a bit odd that Telus would be calling me on my Rogers phone and then again at home.
This number rang my phone, didn't leave a message. So I called them back! Turns out it's a "customer courtesy call" making sure the plan I'm on suits my needs. The guy I was talking to didn't even try to talk me into a new phone, and thus new contract, much to my surprise!
I just got a call from these $(%#ers too! I waited for them to speak, they were calling to check on my service and how I was enjoying it - when I tried to answer I was rudely interrupted and cut off - the guy actually yelled at me and spoke overtop of me!Looks like its time to switch back to Rogers!
I find it intresting that so many are having problems with cell phone companies. We have sprint and when it's done it's done. The guy that sold us the phone (at Sams Club)scammed us into buying 2 phone saying the free phones would be in stock within 3 weeks and we could exchange the phones then if we wanted the free ones. We got nothing when we contacted the supervisor and she said there was no exchange of phones allowed. The contract was 2 years and is a rip-off. We simply wanted something inexpensive for our Mom and Dad (both old) in case he had a stroke while away from the house. I don't think we'll be getting another cell phone. Can you put the phones on the no call list? Seems like if you have to pay for the calls coming in there should be some control given to blocking them. I guess it's like the Credit Bureau where you lose credit points when people search your file but they give you no control over who searches your file.
