Called 8/21/08 around 7:30 PM said they were not a marketing or soliciting company and that we needed to call them back before 9:00 PM. Did not give a company name, name or any other information.

herrising phone calls

got a call from this number tonight - it is a debt collector but they are trying to collect on a debt that I filed in my bankruptcy 12 years ago.

They called my neighbor asking for me, left no name or company name. Tried calling back, just rang and rang.

If this is regarding an auto loan, I have never had one that was or is delinquient. When I receive calls of this type (area code out of my area) I answer but immediately hang up. They don't call back if I do that.....If I let my recorder take it, they call every twenty minutes or so. Took me awhile to figure out that If I hang upon THEM, they go away.

many hang up calls incessantly

Called the number back & the first time I was hung up on when I inquired who they were & what they wanted. Called back a second time & found out they are a financial institution named Ally. The girl told me that the reason our phone number comes up is because someone put us down as a reference for a car loan & that I needed a person extension number in order to search for the loan. We do not have anything financed with Ally now or ever.
