Received a call from "Wells Fargo, Linda Steele, Customer Fraud Detection Unit," on my home phone regarding unusual transaction on my account. I did not pick up and let it go to voicemail. I do not have any accounts with Wells Fargo and I have a security lock on my credit. Tried "reverse" phone look-up and couldn't find any information except call came from Kansas. I followed the recommendation of the respondents here and called Wells Fargo's fraud department direct. They checked and didn't find any accounts let alone unusual transactions under my name. Wells Fargo service rep laughed and said it was probably a mis-dial. In my opinion, FRAUD.
