I have contacted a Lawyer regarding MetCredit, In my situation my employer "Rogers Communication" sent my paycheque to them after I quit the company. Upon talking with my lawyer and showing him all my paper work they sent me regarding this. He took a good look at the papers and informed me that I have done nothing wrong and That I need to send MetCredit and Rogers a letter cc'ing one another stating that I do not owe anything and if yourself(MetCredit) and or Rogers communication continue to contact me you both will be sued for harassment. Once this is sent everything should stop! If it does not stop contact a lawyer and tell them the steps you have taken, then countersuit! once they have breached these requests you should be able to countersue against MetCredit or at least scare them off!

I told them I would not give them any personal information until they told me who they represented Fishing for personal data I thought.

Statue of Limitations has kicked in 2 months ago. They can call all they want but won't be getting a dime out if me!!!! Bahahahaha!!!!

Rogers uses them

I have literally been getting these calls for over two years now. When I changed my number after I moved to a different city. The calls were in the late afternoon and evenings so I would nicely tell them they have the wrong person. That changed when they were rude to me and practically accused me of lying with there tones of voice and questions. They then say "sorry we will take you off the list" well who is the liars now. Here I am two years later and the calls are getting earlier and earlier in the am. Started At 9am when my 2 year old is just waking up. Annoying but I could put up with it. Today I got a call at 7:16am and tried telling the lady "I keep getting these calls and I'm not the person you are looking for." I wanted to tell her how early it was and that It was just rude of them" none of this was said she interrupted me at "I keep..." And the asked my number said i would be removed and then hung up on me. IM SO SICK OF BEING TREATED LIKE CRAP!!! Especially when I've done nothing. These calls are ruining my days, I know have to deal with a tired and grouchy 2year old who doesn't nap. Does anyone know what I can legally do about this. I'm tired of being harassed

I think this is a scam! We do not owe anything and they tried everything!They tried really hard to solicit my husbands name, birthday and address from him! Could be identity theft!This 1-877-388-1050 number is not automated and goes directly to a person, they say they are Metropolitan Credit Adjusters.

Update - Metropolitan Credit AdjustersThis is the Ontario arm of Metropolitan Credit Adjusters and doing their collections using this number.
