Legimate call. I have an interest free loan about to end for Mr. Roof. I'm already on target to pay off.
left message saying "call can't be completed as dialed", however I do have an interest free loan that is about to end.
This is a robo call from Wells Fargo that says that my 1 year no interest purchase was about to expire and I would be charge interest. This is correct information but they did not need to call me. It shows on my statement
Suspicious. no loan interest about to expire. HOWEVER I do not have anything with WF. I called back, right way they asked for my SOCIAL SECURITY #... something is wrong here!!!!
Since I don't have a Wells Fargo Card, it seems that this is some sort of scam
They keep calling about m\"My" Wells Fargo card and ) interest period expiring. Trouble is, I don't have a Wells Fargo Card. So this might be a scam. However the call back number answers as wells fargo, then tells me I can pay on line at Wells Fargo.com, which is legit, because that's where I do my banking
Good info thanks for taking time to post
If this caller was legitimate then the Wells Fargo profile would appear on Caller ID screen & it would not be a Robo call! Please call Wells Fargo number on your card or statement to verify! Legitimate calls as well as other correspondences are always logged into customer accounts! Consumer Beware!!!
877-397-3872 is a confirmed Wells Fargo phone number. They are normally, and in this case were, calling to remind of an upcoming interest free deadline on account. This one is indeed legit.
