They are debt collectors from pediatrics ....just do not pay them any money >>>fraud

Well, I'm pretty sure those hearing tests are part of the regular battery of tests performed on newborns and are done in order to early detect any kind of irregularities, the kind of thing you would like to provide for your newborn, because, you know, you love him/her... besides Medicaid covers it.This is a legitimate company trying to collect for services provided and related to you giving birth.

I have the same situation. It is for my newborn's hearing test.This company must have some problems with their collecting system, they told me to make the payment and said the insurance company has mailed the bill to me to pay, which is not true, when I checked with the insurance company, they said they already covered the payment.

I have not even given birth yet and i just got a vague message from them telling me to call with a reference #. I think it's a scam since i have not even had my baby yet and have no outstanding pedriatric services.

I missed a call from them and search the number online, found this page. I'm pregnant but haven't had my child yet either - several months out. I also don't have any outstanding pediatric services so I'm going to ignore the call.

Same here, I am not due for another month and received a call from this number with NO voicemail. Searched and saw this page. Don't have anything outstanding as far as pediatric services go, so definitely ignoring this call.

This number is from Pediatrix. They are a Non-Participating Provider who does the hearing test on newborns as well as all NICU care. They refuse to participate with insurance companies because they want their full rate. If you have received a bill from them, most likely your insurance company sent you a check. It will look just like an EOB from the insurance company. If the check does not cover the entire charge from Pediatrix, you can call you insurance company and ask them to send the claim back for an adjustment under an invisibility clause. Your insurance may call it something different but it's when you have no choice who treats you and this includes these types of services for your newborn. Your insurance company will then send you an additional check to cover the balance they didn't previously pay.

My children are 18 and 21 so I ignored this call. The voicemail said Pediatrix, but Pediatrix doesn't list this number on their own website. I'm sure it's a scam.
