MBNA MC Fraud department. They never asked for private information, if they had I would have insisted in calling the number on my card. As it was they were inquiring about an online purchase I had tried to do that had been rejected and knew who it was and were able to clear the error while they stayed on the phone so that the order then processed. Again, without my giving them any more info than that they called my residence and asked to speak to me. Seems pretty legit and VERY well handled - customer care without compromising my identity.

Legit call. MBNA mastercard fraud. There were actual fraudulent charges on my card.

Real one- from the fraud departmentHad charges from Mexico on my MBNA card even though I have never been there.The 800 number that they asked you to call is the correct MBNA number.

This number calls ever single day, it can't be a credit card fraud department cause i don't even have a credit card and I still get numerous calls..

This was a legit call. MBNA MasterCard fraud. There were actual fraudulent charges on my card. They gave me information, I gave them none. They knew charges that I put through on my card. It's good to be skeptical, and NEVER give information out.

Was MBNA fraud department in my case - they stated all the information and I confirmed it all, I did not have to give them any personal information, they knew it all.That being said, dont provide any caller with personal information as they should already know - you only have to confirm what they know. If you are uncomfortable, call the number on the back of your card.Be aware that someone can easily spoof this number or any number - Be smart!

This is NOT A SCAM!! You must call them back! Try calling 1-800-667-6577 (Servus Credit Union Fraud Team). Found out that someone tried to get a flight as well as spent $770 on my CC. [***]!
