CtiBank Exxon Mobil credit card collectionJust took a call from this number it was a collection on a bill I have been trying to send a payment to from my bank. Very professional and courteous today 'this has not always the case'.
I get one to two calls every day, stating that it is not a sales call, that it is from Citibank in re to "your private label" account.
You can be on a DNC list but you can still receive calls from people/businesses that you have a current relationship with. If you owe someone money a collection agency call keep calling you. If you truly don't owe anything I don't know why someone wouldn't just amswer and explain that. To me people who say they don't owe anyone anything and yet won't answer the phone......to me are only fooling themselves. Sounds guilty to me then.
I followed the automated request and called back. Citibank issues my wife's Sunoco card and she is behind $10! All these nuisance calls because she was a week behind in paying off a $10 gas fill up. No scam, we checked the account and she did indeed miss the payment. The nuisance calls are reason enough to drop the Sunoco card all together.
I have a panasonic phone but can only block 20 numbers and dozens, probably hundreds of these idiots keep calling. Wish there was a way to block them all
This is a real number from Citibank. I was annoyed with all the calls and them not leaving a message and then I called back and it was Citibank. I don't have a Citibank account, but it turns out they handle another account my girlfriend has with a retailer and were calling to ask about a payment that was, indeed, late. As annoying as it is to get the calls, in my case, it was a valid call and the real Citibank.

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
