They claim to be from Visa Fraud Prevention services.
They claim to be from Visa Fraud Preventon services.
It called me and wanted my info. I stopped short when it asked for my SS#.
Called as VISA fraud services. They are trying to get secure information in order to access accounts.
this company called wanting info to access my accounts
Called to review recent "fradulent activity" on my visa card. Knew quickly it was fake when the last four digits didn't match my own card.
This is Visa check card fraud prevention. They don't ask for your social, just the last four digits. They ask for the day of your birth, not your entire birthday and they ask for your zip. Then they read off any charges they think might be fraudulent and you have to approve them (or not) and that is all. It is not a scam line as others have said on this forum. They have called me several times to verify charges (including one yesterday involving a charge we made for Christmas gifts to relatives out of state).
As bl0ndie has said above, this is legitimately Visa Check Card Fraud Prevention. They call me each time I use my debit card to make consecutive online purchases around and above the $50 range within a short period of time. That being said, I sometimes don't answer their call and haven't experienced any denied transactions when attempting to make future purchases after failing to answer and verify. So if you're uncomfortable verifying your information during this call, due to my experiences, I would say you shouldn't feel obligated.
Yep, Legit Visa calling to confirm 2 transactions. However you could always punch in 4 fake numbers for ur last social security and see if it says it is wrong.
