They left no message. Called the number back-Woodforest Bank-talked to a customer service rep. who took my name and the phone number and said it would be removed in 24-48 hours. We'll see.

Never, at any time, have I ever had any associations with this bank. This is either a telemarketer racking up calls or a scam.

No, IT IS WOOD FOREST BANK!! I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT, AS SOMEONE WRONG ME A CHECK THAT WAS BAD AND IT CAUSED ME TO OVERDRAFT, THERE FORE...THEY CALLED TO IN FOR ME MY ACCOUNT WAS NEGITIVE.....not a scammer

Fraudulent caller

Second call I've received from Woodforest National Bank. They call and leave a message to call them back. I don't have any accounts with them, so I am assuming it's a sales call.

Update to previous post. Here is the message I received:"Monday through Saturday 7 AM to 8 PM Central standard Time or visit your local Wood Forest branch and refer to reference number 68. Again this is a message from Wood Forest National Bank regarding an important business matter please return our call at 877-878-7229 Monday through Saturday 7 AM to 8 PM Central standard Time or visit your local Wood Forest branch and refer to reference number 68."

My son had an account with them but closed it out, I have repeatedly asked them to remove my phone # but they haven't yet. I will go to the bank in WalMart and ask them specifically to remove me.

I have NEVER EVER had any association, transaction or communications with woodforest bank. Are YOU awsre that scammers can make any number they wish appear in your caller ID window? Also, scammers can post to these sites just like you or I can. They're not stupid; just ignorant, greedy and down right nasty. If you have time just keep them on the line as long as you van without givingany real Iinfo. Stall, delay, waste their time. Then laugh and hang up.
