Guy asked for someone that was not me. Informed him I was on the Do Not Call Listing with FCC. He said I will not take you off the list. I will have people bombard you with call and starting telling me I had no life, cussing, etc. Turned the number in. FOUL
They asked for Catherine and when I told them to not ever call me again, they said they would call me everyday.
called at 9:47 am pst no message - call blocked! cid says 800 service. Clown called many times.Real tragedy is switch from circuit switched (analog/Digital) to voip network switching. On prior case without valid cid and billing number; call simply dose not go through period. Today nobody checks anything with ip networking of voip - voice; caller id can be any old crap and phone number can be phony! Now; User has to resort to answering machine intercept or call blockers to filter block the pests. The Do Not Call List is an utter Joke stopping only the honest callers, The rest laugh and make the nuisance calls.. Damn crying shame! At a minimum the CID should display valid caller IP address. Technology marching backwards to our destruction.
Do what I do. To literally every single thing that they say, I answer Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.They hang up.
Even if you change your number, it won't necessarily help. If its a robocall, they just take a starting phone number and add 1 to it for the next call.
