Some call blockers can take care of this. Mine can block fake exchanges like this and even fake area codes. Adding 888-153-xxxx to my call blocker after I finish this post!

Calls, leaves no message. I reported to the FTC.

The "point" of the Do NOt Call registry is to keep legitimate telemarketers from calling people who do not wish to be called. However, scammers do not obey the registry. Invest in a call blocker or at the very least don't pick up calls from unknown phone numbers or numbers that are so obviously spoofed, such as this. FYI, NO phone number or area code in the US or Canada begins with a 0 or a 1.

Here's what I started doing any time an unknown number calls me more than once. Go to the Federal Trade Commission's Do Not Call List website. There is a link to post a complaint. All they ask is your number, the number that called and what time. There is also a comment section where you can provide more info. I recently reported one number that called my cell phone daily over four business days. Haven't had any from that number since. If everyone would start reporting the numbers on a regular basis, I'm sure things would get more difficult for the scammers.

Obviously a spam call so blocking them. Someone mentioned maybe Trump can do something about this ...highly doubtful. Just block and stop hoping someone else can solve your issues.

Hey I recorded you have reached a number that's been disconnected on my machine. If I recognise I pick up if not I let it run it's course. Not perfect but got less dumb [***] calling now and get the recording on line.

So tired of these people calling. Blocking them. Trump should stop these scammers.
