Got a couple of those LADWP phone calls on my answering machine awhile back. Called that number earlier and it was disconnected. So it was a scam.

ditto. Claim to be LADWP and my power will get cut off due to lack of payment. My account is automatically charged to a CC so this is obviously a scam.
Automated message stating my power would be cut-off today if I didn't call this number. Obviously fake because I paid my bill recently.
Recording from LADWP stating to call in 30 minutes to clear up overdue balance or power will be shut off. What's really terrible is my mother is in ICU and this call could have been detrimental if I wouldn't have checked the phone number for CRIMINAL ACTIVITY etc. I hope whomever it is will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law because I'm certain others were scammed, especially the elderly.
Ditto the above. Claimed to be LADWP. Service was going to be cut off if payment was not made. Just paid my bill last week. Out of curiousity I called and got a recording similar to what one would get if you called LADWP. I pressed #5 for locations. OMG!! The person who answered had a very thick Indian accent. Was the location for LADWP now in India!! This is obviously a SCAM!
