I get a fair number of calls from this number and other 888-444-xxxx numbers. Often rings only once, never leaves a message.
getting robo calls. Computerized voice message, with no details, all hours of the day and night.
MedieCredit>>>don't expect these people to be the semi-nice debt collectors of other places, they will not gve you any information about the bill, where it came from or anything- & when I questioned where the bill came from, and said I had never heard of the hospital they wouldn't give me the # to contact the original creditor, just demanded to have payment & threatened to report it; as if I would pay a bill not knowing what it was for, for people I have never heard of or know where they are even located!
They asked for my husband and I said "well, I am his wife." She said "Well, how am I suppose to know that for sure.... I need to ask you some information to make sure I have the right person." I said "What do you collect? Or what company?" She said "Oh, I cant disclose that to you unless you can tell me his birthday and some other information." I said "No, I don't trust you. Don't ever call again!" CLICK!Very rude! She was short with me. I have never heard of this company. Untrustworthy!!
Harassing my mother. How in the world do we get these calls to stop? Very upsetting and definitely fishing for money they are not entitled to. My mother has NEVER had an unpaid debt!
Someone should determine if your Mom is targeted as a debtor or simply taking skip trace calls for someone else. Either way demands for validation and contact restriction are best sent via USPS Certified with return card. See the link I gave to JB up there for more guidance.
This is Medicredit. I spoke with a rep several months ago on a hospital bill balance from my sons surgery. The lady wasnt especially nice but I set up payment arrangement. It was legit bill. I've had no further problems with them since setting arrangements.

I live in Michigan, got a call and text from this number saying to shelter in place. Said there is an active incident and don’t answer doors unless it’s law enforcement officer. Said we’d receive another message when issue resolved.
left voice mail with 2 phone numbers on was 240-374-4607 and the other 877 (garbled)

From the QUITLINE - can be any state - PA for me - I followed their program to quit smoking and this was a follow up survey - NOT SPAM - The service was helpful and the survey harmless.
Got 2 calls from this number stating that it is a colect call from an inmate. We don' t know anyone who is an inmate anywhere.

This number keeps calling me. The message they leave is like a clicking sound. No one speaks. Very odd. I’m blocking this number

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.

Medicredit I believe possibly is scam/fraud calls involving medical insurance, medicare. Courts WILL decide !!
