LEFT A VOICEMAIL, PHONE DID NOT RING, STATED THAT MY STUDENT LOANS COULD HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AND TO CALL HIM BACK ASAP, HE SAID HIS NAME WAS BOBBY LEE.
I have received 2 voicemail messages about a law suit on my school loans, Called them back and they just wanted to much info about me for my liking. I now see they were a scam.
I got the Mark McCain persona and, like others here, I never had a student loan and haven't been in college for 30 years. Total scam.
Someone claiming to be from Nelnet and recent application denial reports may affect my status. I looked up Nelnet's actual phone number and it's completely different than the number the message provided.
Scam definitely. I wonder why these people can make a living by cheating.
Received a call from Mark McCain regarding recent changes to Federal Student Loans, and how this may impact my loans. I'm sure if there was an issue with my student loan, I would be contacted by the servicer and not this guy.
got a Voice mail from this number saying something about recent policy have been changed on my student loan. call them back for more info, and explaining im repaying my loan via Department of education then they hang me up, THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! Good thing i did not tell them any of my information!!!!! SCAM!!!
This number just scammed me as well. Left a voicemail. I called back and got suspicious and looked it up and low and behold found this page.

This is a SCAM-Goes to voice mail and asks you to leave your SSN. The social security admin will never ask you to leave your SSN on a voice mail. Letter looks very official, but it's not.
