This is a scam call. They leave a message saying that a company was ordered to shut down and they are issuing payments for some kind of support they supposedly provided. It's a robotic voice too. They obviously want to get your credit card number so they can issue you the 'payment'. SCAM

These people (person?) has called 6-7 times in the last 3 days. A recorded message is left stating there are Pending legal charges against me ( didn't say what or why) and if they don't hear immediately from my lawyer or myself on their Hot Line ( same number they called on) I will be the only one to face these charges and the consequences .No-one really needs this kind of harassment in their lives so, on to Call Block it goes.

Caller claimed to be from Revenue Canada but I know after working for them for 17 years they are no longer called Revenue Canada and their collectors are a little more professional than this clown. He didn't give his name or the name of whoever he was trying to contact.

Same here. Yesterday around 11 am, I got the same call but the caller could not provide me the correct first name. He repeated again, again he called from Revenue Canada regarding my tax fraud in Year 2010.

A very garbled and indistinct message was left on my phone from 888-769-0137. The one part that was distinguishable was a demand that they hear from my attorney. I couldn't get who they claimed to be. I'm not worried about the Canada Revenue Agency type scam, which I have had from other numbers, since I have worked for H & R Block for 22 years and I know my tax account is in good shape. I do wish we could find these sub-humans and put an end to their antics. I have clients who are seniors who have had these calls and they are terrified of what may happen.

It is tge same scam going on regarding the CRA, why no one can stop these jerks? Blocked the number do not call back or get intimidated by this, it is a SCAM.

I had a call from this number, I asked when the notice was mailed to me they said in 2013, and I was advised it was sent to a street that I stopped living on in 2009. He was very aggravating to talk to, and from the way the call flow went, it is possible they don't even want money. Oh well .. I'll see if I actually receive a letter from them ... and then I'll go to the police.

A woman left a message with this number to call back or face criminal charge at 9:50am. I was unable to hear her clearly identifying herself from CRA. If I am called again by this number I'll report to police.

Got a call from this message demanding that I call back immediately since there were impending legal charges against me. If they did not hear from me I would b e arrested and face all the legal consequences. Can you identify this caller?

Fraudulent caller. CRA does not contact individuals about their taxes using automated calling. Contact numbers provided are bogus. Go to the CRA site to learn more about these scammers
