A recorded woman's voice saying "...a legal case has been filed against you. You or your lawyer must call this number within 24 hrs or you will personally be held responsible," blah, blah, blah. Called twice on same day. No contact name or number listed on call display.
Same threats as all the above ones that are directed for me too, once everyday. I have to disconnect my landline for a week so they don't forget my number.If they give a number to call back, how come the police cannot catch them. This is harassment, for a great number of people. Here is their number 1888-769-0137, and it's noted all over Google. How come authorities don't know about the person who owns that number?
1-888-769-0137 left a voice message, the start was cut off so I don't know who it is supposed to be but the same stuff about legal charges and being arrested if I don't call the hotline. No number on call display, just random letters and numbers.
I just received the same call from the same number as above. they didn't say who they were, just said if I don't call back legal charges would be laid. Why are these people still getting away with this crap?
Same thing but does not say Revenue Canada but that they is a legal case against my name (they don't give a name) and say for me or my legal counsel to contact 1-888-769-0137. I'm glad I looked up this # on this site lst as I will block this # in future.
