It is indeed PayPal. They call about a negative balance which I had and was my fault. Explained the situation and she was very nice and thanked me for my communication and said I wont hear back from them for a couple of weeks, but it'll be taken care of by then. If the covered a purchase and you don't pay they will call, and usually the first call is a courtesy call. Communicate and they will work with you.

They always side with the buyer, lost 1200 bucks in 2006 from same thing. I closed my account before the same thing happened again a few months ago

Caller ID: "Not Provided". It may be the same situation with me as my debit card was compromised in recent months and I updated my PayPal account with the temporary card number my bank gave me, but forgot to update again when I got my replacement card. Still, I don't trust a number from "Not Provided".

It is PayPal. They sided with a buyer against me, too, despite my providing pages and pages of email and eBay message proof that I delivered what I sold, that my buyer acknowledged receipt, that the buyer continued to contact me inquiring about other items he wanted to buy even though he wasn't sure he could afford them, and his waiting 2.5 months to claim he didn't authorize the purchase. F PayPal. I'm not paying them for enabling scammers with buyer's remorse. So much for their seller protections. I will never use PayPal again. Ever. eBay has been no help either. All I know is the buyer's account is now closed.

It is NOT PayPal. I called PayPal and they said it's a scam. All of you who are saying it's PayPal are dumb. No exception. You're dumb.

Confirmed its a scam after being on phone for an hour with PayPal. I was getting pissed at them not knowing anything so I stayed on the line till someone figured it out and enformed them they should probably do something about it since people are spoofing their number and re-routing calls to the number back to PayPalLISTEN TO ME: If you call this number it WILL go to paypal but if you ask them about the number you dialed (aka the number that won't stop calling you with Paypal as caller ID) it is NOT their number. Confirmed on phone with rep from PayPal.

They have been calling me constantly ttimes times a day. I have called Pay Pal at least 4 times to find out what is going on. They say I have a zero balance and they connected me from their phone to collections which also verified a zero balance. Definitely SCAM CALL!!!!!

I never answer until I can look them up either!

This is NOT PayPal - If you have questions about your account, log into your account or call PayPal directly. Paypal's number is (888) 221-1161. Do not give your account info to someone who calls you. A REAL PayPal rep told me that they will not call with issues with your account, they will email or contact you through the app. Also NEVER log into your account through an email you receive. Always go to Paypal.com or your app. There are very convincing emails being sent that look like they are the real thing. When you enter your acct info, the scammers now have full access to your account and outside bank accounts.

This number called my house everyday approximately 30 times.
