some one called and asked for me. i cannot call back . the line sounds like a fax machine.

Police & Patrolman organization looking for donations. By doing some research I have come to the conclusion that this is a spoofed number. This is why I will never contribute to phone solicitors, most likely this money would have gone into someones pocket....

Called asking for my husband then hung up when I had my daughter call the number back first time said unavailable second and answered but said nothing.

Called my number at 5:12PM, rang 7 times and stopped. I didn't answer, sure it was a scam..

Not sure about the area code but the # 246-8119 ... troopers...I hung up but next time I will tell him I give through my church. I don't like strangers calling me by my first name, they don't know me at all...very rude.

Caller ID says Commerce, Texas. In the past it has been police/state troopers. We've told them we don't give over the phone. Still call. Didn't answer this time. Left no message.

Called and asked for my father, told the lady that he is not and it got quiet, sorta. The lady that called sounded like she was several feet from the phone and you could hear others people talking as well as various computer noises. The background noise continued for several minutes after the person who called disappeared.

Called and asked for the home owner. When I asked "may I ask who's calling?" They hung up. Tried calling the number back and it said the number I called was no longer in service. Very strange if you ask me.

Just noise at the other end....sounded like a call bank...

Claimed to be charity for breast cancer research . Told her to stop calling & she ignored me & kept talking over me. I hung up. The phone company shouldnt be allowed to make us pay for service that is mostly a source of unrestricted nuisance calls.
