I received a phone call from this number. I didn't answer. They left a message for me to phone them back. I wouldn't give them my card number over the phone so they suggested I phone # on the back of my card which I did. They wanted to confirm that it was me that made an online purchase. It was indeed me. I like this service.

i got a call today from this #.........9:48am ( EDT ) ............i had filed a complaint against my local canadian tire store , and this was the president's office following up........so , in my case , it was a legit call..............HOWEVER , please note that they DO use this phone number for multiple departments..........

Just missed a call and tried to call back but no longer in service....

It's just the Canadian tire HR team, can confirm. Work for a cantire company, they called back as I was expecting an HR call. Yall can relax

Yes. this is a legit call from the CTFS security department. It may involve fraud on you CT MasterCard so i would call back immediately. They did not ask for my SIN only my card number/3 digit security number and to confirm current and previous address.

Thank you for the informations because I didn't want to answer the phone. I called back and it was Security Department and told the lady that I would call the number on the back of my card which is 800-561-1591. It was really Security Department and it was because they wanted to verify a transaction that had been made on my Credit Card January 1st from the United States. I was glad to know and could answer that it had nothing to do with me and they told me that they had refused the transaction and now everything is ok they will change my credit card .

Yes, this is a real call from Canadian Tire Fraud Squad. If you don't trust the number, call back their main line instead. They called this morning to advise about recent questionable transactions on my credit card. It was all legit stuff, but I'm glad they keep an eye on stuff like that. I called back the number on my credit card and was transferred directly to the fraud squad.. they asked me a bunch of questions and got everything sorted out for me. They were very helpful and courteous.

Hello all. I just received a call from this number stating their were the Canadian Tire Fraud department, and asking if I'd changed my address. I confirmed. Then, to follow up, I called Canadian Tire back. They confirmed that there are calls that come out of Welland, ON from the CT Fraud department, and that sometimes that same number gets assigned to their marketing calls. It's legit, but don't ever ANYONE information about your card, unless you called them.

Was at the store waiting for application to be completed gave my home number. This call came at the same time we were waiting for verification but had difficultycompleting. Now I know why.

I got phone call with similar name and right Home phone #. asking all of my detail and saying that I owe them 1600 in which I have no idea , gave my SIN as per there request. The lady was nice . I think I made a big mistake.
