Add another nickel to your demand. It's $5,000 for the surreptitiously recorded call via CA penal Code 632.7/637.2, in addition to the $1,500 in robocall / automatic telephone dialing system damages. Go get 'em!

People from India trying to scam me.

Ugh. They called me today, 'cept it was "John" with the computerized voice. The federal statutes require Steven and John to "... record your number right now" on their internal do not call list. Otherwise, how can Solar Solutions scrub the list of #s to be called by their auto dialer to avoid calling folks on the national dnc list or Solar Solutions' own internal list?

On the iphone, you click the 'i' next to the number. It will give you info & options to save, share, or block. I block mine there. On my landline, I have a Panasonic w/wireless handsets. On that one, you go into the CID (caller ID), & when you have that number showing on the display, go into the menu & 'Save CID'. When you select that, you will have the option to Save CID to the phonebook or Call block. Block it. On this phone model, (bought it about 3 years ago), i have the option of blocking either 200 or 250 calls, (can't remember which). I would assume most of the brands with the wireless handsets have some sort of blocking option. If not, call the mfg or call your local phone company. GOOD LUCK!
