Got the 'purchased an iphone call . How do they plan to make money?

Received a message from this number saying they were from Amazon reporting a fraudulent charge. It sounded like a fraudulent call because they were giving me supposed information on my husband's card on which I am not an authorized signer. I called Amazon and they verified it was a fraudulent call.

I got an odd call from this number, my recorder cut off the bulk of the message but they said they were from Amazon fraud and a shipment was shipping to somewhere in OH & if I had not made the purchase I was to call the number 910 number and report - I thought it seemed fishy and am so glad I checked.

The horrible lady said my order for an iPhone XR would be sent to Dayton, OH unless I called the Amazon fraud department on the number above. Nasty c**t scared the s**t out of my elderly parents.

Left message saying a purchase was made on my Amazon account. Needed me to verify my account to receive my package in time for Christmas. I have no outstanding orders with anybody, much less Amazon. Be careful folks.

I received the exact same call.

Automated call, said there was suspicious activity on my Amazon account for 2 new iPhones being delivered to another state, please call this # if I didn’t place the order!?!

Scam tech support contract reimbur***t

Foreign voice with poor English tried to get me to go to a website where I could cancel the service contract I never entered into. Wouldn't give up even when I explained to him that I was a Certified Fraud Examiner.
