This is a scam fronted by Russian mobsters in NY. I told them I was an FBI Special Agent and I was putting a trace on their phone no matter where they were hiding and have the US Marshal's on them in a matter of minutes. If they were not US citizens they'd be on a plane headed back to wherever they came from about suppertime tomorrow. The guy hung up in a hurry.

I got a call from Jason Miller as well. He said he was from the State Dept as well and told me that my husband and I had an outstanding balance and needed to bring it current unless we wanted to be arrested. He had all my information too.

Called my fax number - which is also on fed do not call. Have no other information.

I work at a physician's office, and this guy, Jason Miller keeps calling me and it comes up on our caller ID as "New York Call". This is interesting indeed as I don't live in any state near there, I am in the midwest. He says I owe $300, the first question was for the name of my lawyer. When I responded, some lackey said he would get his supervisor since I knew nothing about it. Then he puts this "Jason Miller" on the line. Says he is the lawyer representing US payday advance. All he can tell me is that the alleged transfer occurred between August and December of 2010. I spoke to my bank just to verify, they suggest I close all accounts. I don't know how to make him stop this!

Just had a call from this number 10 min. ago. I didn't say a word when I picked up the phone, I was waiting on whomever it was to speak first.Nobody ever said anything so I don't know what the scam is this time.

yesterday he was Jason Miller, today he is Shawn White, told my work it was a "legal, criminal matter"

Just got a call from this number -- they hung up when I said hello. Tried to call back, got a beep-beep-beep sound. Blocked the number so I won't get more calls from them.

Just got a call today 5/19/2011 from 914-373-7033 (Attorneys of Legal Services of New York and said that I was going to be arrested for crimminal charges and I would receive a subpeona on Monday and be officially arrested. I was emotional ignorant and devastated. They told me if I wanted to resolve this by paying them $ 7,893.00. The charge was that I borrowed money from US Check (payday loan company) and never paid them back. I investigated and it is a SCAM. Watch out for area code 914 and 904. I am reported this to the authorities....be careful everyone, especially elderly people. Do not send money.Before I realized it was a scam, I had an asthma attack and called my family to come and help me.

Don't answer the phone. You people are mostly all idiots. I don't answer my front door, either, btw.
