Received call on my ATT cell phone.I live in Hawaii. Didn't pick up call. Will probably change phone numbers. Too many calls. Appreciate others posting comments.Perhaps number should be reported to that person's cell company. Legislation for cell companies to deny cell phone to people who misuse the cell service.

Did any of you have yahoo account tampered with? Maybe that is how they got the numbers. Just curious.

917-297-5533 Can we get some legal protection from this person? who do we call to report this scam artist?I'm in Hawaii and got a call on my office phone. random number generator? computer calling? The banks won't even accept money orders, cashiers checks or any form of payment other than cash without a holding period and even cash is questionable with todays available computer technology and printer capabilities for these thieves to destroy our economic system. I thought life was hard enough already. the dollar slips each day with Obamanomics spending and stimulus plan.

Have no idea who this is. I never answer unrecogized numbers to Tracfone.

I just got a random call from this number too. I didn't answer. But glad everyone else is posting about this so folks know.

I got a call from this number asking if I wanted to reduce my interest rate, and mentioning that he was from equifax. When I asked why a reporting company would be calling to offer me reduced interest. He said something about new credit laws and credit scores. He then said didn't I want to reduce my interest. When I said that I have no debt and always paid my account balances in less than a month he hung up.

Did not answer. I have tried to deal with scammers before, and it seems when they actually know you are a 'human' on the line, they always call back more frequently. Try to ignore it for a few weeks, see if it goes away...For those who get repeated calls on a cel phone. Inform the 'company' that it is a cell phone, and it is illegal for them to call you at that number (after asking them to stop calling, of course).
