yep.. I got the same call, but when I call it back, its a disconnected number.. some [***] has figured out how to "spoof".. they use someone elses number and call to pester people.. new game in town.. now we need to find out just who the spoofers are and kick some [***]! tired of these [***] jerks playing [***] games...
just got a call from this number...no message...called back gets message saying disconnect. My mom was terrified...thought it was a call from a family member in OH...calling with bad news...;oP
So we all know by now that the "Do-Not-Call" list is just another government waste of taxpayer money with no teeth in it at all, otherwise this kind of call would be a thing of the past.We just got a call from this number (like all the rest of you) and when I answered, of course, there was nobody there. So what's the point? Just call people randomly to be a P.I.T.A. ?

The DNC actually works very well and is not necessarily a complete waste of money. You probably can't remember the last time you got a call from a legitimate law abiding business that is covered under the law. So for the intent of the law, it works very well.The people who bother us all day long pay no attention to the law and are therefore criminals. Unfortunately the law has no bite and that why the criminals have nothing to loose by continuing their harassing calls as well as their criminal activities.
