Owners of debt, no matter original creditor or not, can file a lawsuit against any person they own debt on.it does not have to be the original creditor (And you say you work at a Law Office..LOL)Better get your facts straight.Also the statute of limitations is different in every state ranging from 3 years up to 10 years on a credit card and if a judgement is put against you then you could get your wages garnished, a lien against your property, and bank acct levies.Read your laws regarding these issues, or better yet gets your facts straight and quit posting the wrong information. Your information may just cause someone to believe you and lead straight to a lawsuit against them

These calls started a week or so ago and are getting more frequent. It's all a scam...I swear they move from place to place and different scammers get the list and start calling again. This has been going on for more than a year now...DO NOT CALL THEM BACK OR TALK TO THEM ON THE PHONE! It's unnerving at times but even the local police say these scammers are persistent. Reporting this one to the Atty. Gen. too!

I got calls from them too. I told them to prove the debt to me. To send them me something. They said they won't they will do it in a lawsuit. I talked with my state's attorney general's office and filed a complaint with the FTC. Unfortunately I need an address so they can go after them, but no one has been able to find an address. And the attorney general's office told me they have to send me proof.

I have had 4 calls from the above number every time they are told the same thing but they keep calling my home. When I ask for an address to send a written letter they refuse to give me an address.These people are trying to locate my x wife and daughter. For the last 10 years I have had no contact with these people. I want this to stop and I am willing to take legal action to make it happen. Does anyone out thier have an address.They also call from 757-962-8679.

All of you are deadbeats and stupid- first of all they can and will sue you- many states have statutes of limitations of ten years in which they can sue you. I started looking into this after my sister got sued by a debt collector. These people called me about a debt i didn't know about because my husband used a card of mine after we got divorced. I told them the situation and they were very sympathetic and helped me settle it out for exactly what i owed and took off all of the interest for me. They did send me proof and are willing to do so if you cop up to the debt and are willing to talk to them about fixing the situation. All of you are dishonest and are deadbeats. Everyone gets pissed off when someone owes us money and doesn't pay us back- I did research and this company actually owns this debt and so they want to get paid. All I have to say is you all need to be responsible adults. I agree it's annoying if and when they keep calling, but get mad at the people who used you as a reference and most of the time if you are just nice and ask people to stop calling, they do. I don't know about this company cause that didn't happen to me, but just ask them and see what happens!! jsd know what you're talking about before giving people wrong info. I feel bad for the lawyer you worked for, in fact give me their number, so i can make sure to never, ever call them!!!

FTC just sued a large group of collection agencies located in the city of Corona, alleging numerous violations of debt collection laws.If you are having any problems with illegal debt collection practices, and in particular if they are coming from a collection agency in southern California, or near Corona CA, contact FTC.

I got a message from this number today 06-26-2012... the message said they have tried to contact me several times by a Jeremy Matlock that I needed to call back right now. The dirtbag sounded very rude and annoyed because I have yet to return his call. He can kick rocks and sit and wait for me to return the call .... IDIOTS!!

Got a similar call today - Said that they had made several calls (none prior) and that I had to call back today. I did and they were trying to find someone that I didn't know. After they asked me repeatedly if I knew this person, they said that I would be removed from the "list". After I thought about it I called back because they had my name and number saying that someone had used it as a reference. When I called back I got someone who refused to tell me what it was about and even who they were! I said if someone used my name as a reference and they were calling me that I had a right to know what it was about. They refused to tell me and when I asked what they did he refused to tell me and again said that my number would be noted as a "wrong number". He again refused to tell me what their business was.He then said they were "Platinum" (most likely a lie since nothing comes up on a search). All I know is that my caller ID said Temecula CA
