-Got a call with message to call back immediately. Did not call back as it was not anyone I recognized (I have never taken out a loan or been in debt either).-Got another call, same number. Picked up. They were looking for someone I did not know. I said, don't know and don't call me again. Was told that they never called me before and they would take number off the list. As I was asking who they were, she hung up on me. -Got another call, same number. Did not get to the phone in time to pick it up. Called back. Sounded like the same woman. She said that she never called me before. I said that I only pressed "dial back" and they are quickly becoming a nuisance and please remove me. She again said she will.

Recieved the same call. Claiming I owed on a jc penny's card. That I know for a fact I paid. Told the guys was heading there now and hung up. About 8-9 yrs ago yes I had created a lot of debt. 4yrs ago I paid everything off. So knowing and having my credit reports from 2009 indicating I paid this card off. Called penny's and the collection agency they sold my account to. Guess what, the account was closed and paid in full. PR and Associets are a fraud. Called them back to day demanding where they got my information. Such rude people and very demanding when they first called. Lol seriously thought the lady was going to cry before she hung up on me. I do want to know how they got my information. They are a fraud business. DO NOT give them any personal information. If you do owe money call them first. If they have sold the account to a collection agency they will give you their name. Repete DO NOT give PR and Associets any bank/personnel information.

They have been leaving me messages on my cell phone all week. I finally answered today. They wouldnt tell me who they were, but they had the last 4 digits of my social security number, which freaked me out. Then they claimed they were trying to collect a debt that was included in my discharge in 2008. The manager then got on the phone and told me I was lying about my bankruptcy that if I really had one I would know my attorney's name and telephone number. I said it was 4 years ago dude?? Meanwhile I'm digging through my desk and low and behold I started rattling off my case number and my attorney's information. He shouted "don't you ever contact us again!. I said I didnt contact you, you contacted me and you refused to identify yourself and you had my social security number! THen he hung up. So I called the number back. Reached a female representative, explained to her what had happend. She came back on the line and stated the first fella I spoke with was Brandon and she asked me to hold while she looked into it further, then that familiar jerk came back on the line and said Marjory? this is the manager! Don't you ever call my office every again do you understand me? I demanded his name, he refused to give it to me and kept yelling have a nice life have a nice life! What the hell kind of a company is that?? I have contacted my attorney! There is some jerk out there with my social security number trying to collect money from me that isnt collectable! Not to mention it is a violation of Bankruptcy Section 504 that any creditor contact or try to collect a debt after it has been discharged. They are violating a court order!

This is exactly what happened to me!!!! I decided to google this phone number and see if anyone else had this problem. I do not owe anything, and I have no idea who these people are. A male left a very threatening message, telling me "Their company PR Associates had called several times, and were tired of leaving messages (I had never heard from them in my life), and that I had better call in 24 hours to get this resolved, or I would regret it." I tried calling the number back, and found it odd they never mentioned me by name. I am sure they were trying to reach someone I don't even know, and I don't give my house number to anyone so I was ticked. I left a voice mail on their machine telling them to stop harassing me, and I want to know why this man was allowed to call and threaten people. Furthermore, to the person who indicated people are "deadbeats" for complaining about these calls is completely in the wrong, and has no idea what they are talking about. Sometimes these people call and harass you for no reason, and don't care who they reach. When you tell them they have the wrong number they don't believe you, and many of them can be scams for identity theft, so don't criticize what you know nothing about. You seem to have a god complex. Saying all of us are deadbeats and stupid? They have been callling me about someone I knew, and threatening me, as if I owed the money. So, you seem to be the idiot here. I don't owe anyone any money. You must be the stupid one, because in fact, they do buy old debt and then try to collect. Yes, people should pay up if they borrowed. But maybe you should get off your "high-horse" and find a little compassion. Not everyone is a deadbeat. Your president has taken many, many jobs away from this country, so not everyone can pay back what they owe. And no one has a right to talk to people like they are trash, without getting some major feedback. The man that called today, threatened my wife if she did not give him a phone number for someone we knew 8 years ago, before we moved to where we are now.Get a life... (prefferably one that is above ground level).

I've gotten calls also from PR & assoc. They have my address and trying to collect on a debt, that i'm not sure is even mine, and old debt and they threatened me with bringing a Sheriff and serving a summons. I told them I wouldn't sign anything from them, then they wanted my debit card #'s to as they said, Settle half the debt if the customer would agree even for $25 if I gave them my card #, I said absolutely not, I was going to call an attorney, they said how can you pay an att, and can't pay this even for$25 , I said I have a free attorney She said good luck(sarcastically) and hung-up! They haven't called or came with the sheriff!.grrr, it's just annoying and rattled my nerves, but I heard through an Limberg Attorneys that they are probably scammers! I'm not worried now. God Bles the rep. from Limberg Attorneys who did a quick check for me about this Co. PR&Assoc.They are I believe now a scam set-up!!
