Hello Everyone.I am from Portland Or about an hour away from where this call is coming from. I have no idea what it is. Every time I call back I get a recording saying "due to a high volume of calls, your call cannot be completed at this time. I've gotten this call three times this week.
971-307-2014 Calls my cell phone, does not leave a message. There's been two attempts this week.
it said it was unallocated, not unaligated. it means it belongs to no one. but obviously it does belong to someone.. i got the same call. it is just some dumb service checking to see if the number is connected and, well, allocated.
also, i think that if you have used the texting option on a free 411 call, or anything where you have requested a text from an event, you are more likely to start getting these mysterious calls. i have had txts with information from 411 sent to me several times, most recently last weekend, and event-based info sent as well. i think the numbers are re-sold and then we start getting mysterious dead-end calls. that has to be it. my bills are all paid, i'm not going to waste more brain space on it.
971-307-2014 This number called me also. 1st time. I picked up but i didin't hear anything. I called back and it said that the number was unallocated. Don't know. Hope to not hear it again.
I just got the call from this # on my cell, it was a loud male spanish automated voice. I hung it up right away. I hope its not some weird scam that charges you alot for answering it or calling it back, I saw a lot of people say they called back. Kind of scary!
