same letter today... we are a Flo Mo address, anyone else

We got the same letter, yellow tablet paper written in red ink in an unsealed envelope. Zip 75077 and the same person. Any leads?

Received same thing mentioned above: Letter in the mail saying they want to buy our house, supposedly from Tamara Griffith, envelope unsealed, faux hand-written (except for address and our name) on yellow paper with red ink. 972-499-2297 listed as the contact number. We also live in Flower Mound.

I didn't receive this letter but my neighbor did and was quite concerned about it. It was as mentioned above, yellow paper with red ink from Tamara Griffith. I have some involvement with the Lewisville PD and am going to forward this on to them since the address listed is on the corner of McGee Lane and 407 and that is all businesses in that area. Will post more if I find out anything.

Same letter, yellow paper with pre-printed red ink, handwritten name, from Tamara Griffith. Since this has been going on since April and several people stated they were taking it to the police, does anyone have a follow up to post?

I guess we all got the same letter. Mine is post marked 4/14/2010. I have held on to it, as we are sellig our house. The letter came addressed to our daughter. The phone number is the same as listed above, as is the return address. Yellow paper and red ink was used for the handwritten letter and it was signed by Tamara Griffith.Has anyone found out anything about this?

I have gotten repeated calls from this number. First saying my phone # was left in accordance with stolen property. 4 or 5 calls later the message switched to saying there was a lawsuit claim against me associated with the last 4 numbers of my SS #. Every time I have called I have gotten an answering service. I believe it is a scam and that no one receiving calls from this number should give them any personal information. I have not received a letter but numerous phone calls. I did a reverse phone number search and no owner information came back except that it is a voIP line which uses the internet to place calls. All the recorded messages I get when I answer the calls say that it is a company called Horizon Mediations. They left a separate number for me to call which is (972) 499-4277. All I get is a voice mail for Richard Hall in the "mediation and claims department". I left him a message to remove me from his calling list, that I know it's a scam and if I receive any further calls I am going to call the police.

Horizon Mediation - leaves a nonsense message saying call and asked you to press 1 and someone from claims dept will assist. When you call them back and ask them to verify the company name or the phone or business address they fail to give you any information. They refuse to verify information that they may have an give out information against the Fair Credit Act. I work at a government office and they are calling. When I let them know they are calling a goverment office the guy froze up and hung up immediately. He said that you may have received a robocall from us for check mediation but refused to give any informaiton. Even if they are a legitimate company, which is does not sound like they are, they are not operating properly.

told me I owed money from a defaulted payday loan. I had filed for bankrupcy and it was included in the bankrupcy. Was infomed this type of loan can not be resolved with a bankrupcy. He told me I could resolve it with him or he would recommend charges be filed and a warrent issued for my arrest. Before I could get the details for what "resolve it with him" were he said "I need the number of the Arapahoe district attorney" and then hung up. I don't think he was speaking to me. I think it was intended for it to appear it was to someone else and I'm suppose to be scared.
