Just got call from this number. They hung up. The reason when you call back and no one answers is that they're using a fake cid. It's easily done actually one of my companies does it for security purposes on a certain line.

Called a land line on 3/24/11. No message

I forgot to mention it doesn't have to be a fake cid number it could just be the company that's providing that person their phone line. Companies give people outgoing caller id's even if they only want outgoing calls so when you call it back it won't ring anywhere as the number attached is just a attached for outgoing and doesn't accept incoming. High chance of it being a voip line which means you won't be able to trace it.

I just got a call from this number on my work phone. I tried calling back and it says it's disconnected. I googled the area code and it's in northern NJ. At the same time I got a call from another number that I've been getting frequent calls from in Nevada on my cell phone! What the hell?? The Nevada number is about some auto warranty, but you can't talk to anyone...the number is 702-520-1126. They just leave me annoying recorded voicemails pretty much everyday now. This all pisses me off to no end.

Same thing, one ring and nothing (on my Magic Jack phone). Is the Magic Jack a common thread here?

Received this number on my work phone here in NC. No message was left but caller ID listed that call came from Madison NJ.

Let me clear some confusion up here. In todays world with VoIP communications taking over. Any one or any company can call you with any caller ID they chose. However the ones that are using false caller ID have 2 reason they either are trying to collect on a debt or they are trying to gather information for fruad in either case some times its better to answer the call and tell them they have wrong number. For the recordings you can simply wait to be connected and tell them you want to speak to a supervisor as they have called your house several times and you are going to take them to court. This has cleared up many of those calls. Hope this helps shed some light on this.

Got the call (never heard it, but saw it on the CID on my forwarding phone). Madison NJ. No message, and no answer when called back. It called my forwarding line, but none of the phones that would normally ring when my forwarding line is called rang.
