Same here - just received a call and they hung up on the first ring. Calling back I got a "The number you dialed is no longer in service" message.

When you call you get a recorded message with a fake disconnect and busy signal on a loop. So my guess is telemarketing.

I got a call from this number, one ring and it hung up. After reading the other posts I suppose its probably a telemarketer. Came up on the caller id as Private.

My first time receiving a call from this number (today). Curious as I was on the other line at the time discussing my legal affairs when (973)360-2026 Private number called and interrupted at the moment I was literally speaking of government issues, as a former gov't employee. The timing was too weird. When I tried to take the call, no one was there; tried returning the call 3x disconnected number. I don't get solicitors calling. My number is not listed.

In Massachusetts----1 ring then hung up. I'm getting a bunch of these stupid phone calls. sometimes 15 times daily.area codes 202, 303, 673, 603, 614, 808 and other weird ones.

there are prepaid phone cards that you can buy that will show a caller id number of anything you put in there. so you can hide your real number or do something like have it say you are calling from goodyear, even if you aren't

Got a call from this number (973-360-2026) at my work phone that only lasted for a half ring at 8 PM Pacific Daylight Time. Strange that they would call a work number this late - all numbers in my exchange in this area code are exclusive to my employer's site.

I got a call from this number this afternoon. The message was a dial tone. I called it back, and the number is disconnected. I hope we all aren't in a "Final Destination" movie or something. Or "the ring" and we are all going to drop dead.. This is crap. WHY ME????
