Got in the house just as the answering machine picked up.No message, did a reverse look-up on the number and it said that it was an invalid area code.

I got five calls from this person yesterday. He is out of India. I recently have gone back to college to get my Master's and he was trying to say I had filled out paperwork to get a grant-untrue. I hung up on him and he called me back later at 9:45 pm and was extremely loud and obnoxious saying, "Why will you not talk with me. You must talk with me. You filled out paperwork to receive these grants." very predatory. I am reporting this. The first four calls said "Unavailable" but the last call at 9:45 pm was the same person but this time from 987-654-3210. He has already called me twice today.!

Claims to be from AT&T, but they are NOT! They are from Preferred who they CLAIM are authorized by AT&T to save you money on your phone rates. Funny, but if you were really from AT&T you would KNOW THAT I AM NOT AN AT&T CUSTOMER!!!!! And this jerk wants to argue with me.

Same problem! And I live in SINGAPORE!1st time heard some foreigner voice then silence. 2nd time, silence. I've stopped answering but the [***] keep calling. How do we stop this nuisance?

I've been getting calls this morning from this number. There is a scam out right now that chooses random phone numbers and is being run by some foreigners. If you answer, it automatically charges you for an overseas call and applies a "club" fee to your bill. So watch your bills if you answered the call.Good policy is not to answer any number you don't recognize. If it's important they'll leave a message. Telemarketers and scammers don't leave messages.

This number has called my work 3 times this past week, every time I answer they hang up.

This number is actually owned by a company out of Toronto, Canada. They own a group of numbersstarting with 987-654-3201 thru 987-654-3299. They lease these numbers to companies that in turn,market merchandise through telephone solicitations. They don't leave any messages if you don'tpick up but they will call back several times.
