They leave a voice message from an automated "victim notification system" stating they are from the office of inspector general and received an alert to suspend my social security number.

Called the number. Person answered was foriegn and couldn't give explanation of why they called me.

I did not request any system from that company and their call was very annoying.

I asked the gentleman where he got my phone number and he replied that the state of CA provides all type of information when I purchased my home.
