I have had 3 calls from this number. All Indians, who say they are calling from Australia about a serious virus on my computer, which they can fix. They are very insistant. Even though I told them not to phone again, they did.Can anything be done about this?
I've been receiving calls from this number since friday 26 oct. Screamed down at them yesterday to stop calling. Got a call again 15 mins ago. Its really annoying. Half the time you can't understand what they're saying. Used to get calls from a bogus computer company saying I had virus in my computer, same Indian accents. Guess they thought no ons falling for that crap lets start insurance scam!!! something really needs to be done about this.
Receiving calls from this number several times a day. I answered the first time and they were insisting that i had taken a loan out in the last 10 years an i had been overcharged. Something to do with ppi (insurance). It made no sense as i hadnt any loan. Havent answered the phone to them since. Wierd.

Got home this afternoon to find a missedcalled' with this number. No idea what they want or what they are seling but it's about time someone in government started looking at this pestilence. I was under theimpression TPS were supposed to be sorting it out but apparently if the call originates (or appears so after being rerouted from Bury St Edmunds or wherever) they can't touch them. Another useless 'chocolate fireguard' bloody quango that isnt fit for purpose and the ppi and other greasy little salesmen know it, I suspect half the time it's just bad manners and spitefulness that people like you and me get snotty with them and won't buckle and play their silly game. Best thing I find is to tell them whatever they want to 'help' you with has already been sorted. I got pestered for months about an 'accident I had a few years ago, truth is it was all settled, nobody hurt (someome swiped my car in a cinema carpark, owned up, left a note and his company paid for everything including hire car and that was it. When I explained this to the caller, eventually, he apologised and said he would take my details off his records...
I got a call from an American guy who claimed that he worked on behalf of Microsoft and he worked for a software company in London, offering to sell me anti virus software at a ridiculous high price, when I refused he got very aggressive, it's about time that they were found out and shut down.
