I lost my dog in august and this person called claiming to be lost and found pets and kept asking questions about my pet. I told them multiple times that i was not sharing my dogs info over the phone with out knowing exactly who they were. Finnaly i just hung up.

Called repeatedly but did not leave a message. I didn't answer because its not a normal US phone number.

Has called my phone twice today. I did not answer because it is not a number I recognized.

Just received a call and a voicemail. It sounded like an Indian man, and he said he was calling about my missing cat. I do want my cat back, but this sounds shady, so I don't plan on calling back.

I had a call from someone at that number whom I could barely understand due to his thick accent. He was referring to my missing cat. He transferred me to his "supervisor", whose English was just about as poor. The supervisor asked about whether my cat was microchipped and whether I could provide send a photo to him of the cat. He had to have seen our add on Craigs List, which included a photo. I hung up on him and got a call back immediately, which I didn't answer. Definitely a scam.

They wanted to find my pet. But I had to pay a ton to get volunteers to look. When I said I don't have the money. And I'm not doing this. He said you don't love your dog.

This guy was scamming on my vulnerability do to my lost dog. Wanting to charge for help finding him. Thick Indian accent. Sad people. Run.

Called to ask about my lost dog. I didn't answer and found this information when I searched for his number online since it seemed like a weird area code.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! No question this is a scam. This is scraping the bottom of the barrel for being low, how nasty is this to go after people when they are at a weak point. They just called me offering to "search" for my lost cat and listed off all kinds of services they provide. They were trying pretty hard to get me to log into their website SEARCHPATH.ORG <<--- notice the ORG at the end. If you go in there it says the site is down for maintenance. I have no doubt it magically works if you tell them you are keying in the URL. They are quite sneaky too. If you do a search for Searchpath it will bring up a reputable company but for Head hunters and it is .COM. There is another listing for it that shows up on ScamAdvisor.com which says it is good. ScamAdvisor.com is also a SCAM. They are very determined. I wish we could post a giant warning to people. I am curious if it is just searching the Internet for our Lost or Missing posts or if it is from a particular site being watched by them. I had only just posted on Craigslist about my missing cat and it was within an hour I got this call. I posted on other helping find lost pet sites and nothing.

Called me and said I saw your cat. Left no details, just hung up. Called two more times and got the answering machine. Left no message. My cat is lost and I am not in the mood for prank and scam callers! Phones were one of the worst inventions ever.
