Your yahoo account has been compromised - specifically, hacked. They are using your account to send the messages. Since they are texting from yahoo to phones, that is why the strange phone number is involved. it is yahoo's number from messenger-to-text conversations.change all of your passwords for now, but you may want to close down that account soon and use a new one. also, since your password may have been stolen by malicious computer software, you may need to have a computer professional check out your system and clean it.

This number shows up as the phone number no matter what Yahoo ID is actually sending the text. It normally says the Yahoo ID somewhere in the actual message, but there may be a way to block your name being sent. I know if I send a SMS message from my email, it says "Message sent from Yahoo! email account ******@ymail.com" at the top of the text. It looks like all these texts originate from one phone number, but in reality it is lots of different scam artists and perverts (along with anyone you might actually want to hear from with a Yahoo ID!) using Yahoo accounts.

I just want to mention the names of Eileen Dion or Eileen Cook. Same person and same scam. She claims to be in love with you, but all she does is ask for money. First she was in Nigeria Africa, then moved to London England. She claims that her rich father left her 3 million dollars, but she can't get the money until she gets married. Her supposed lawyer , a James Jason supposedly in New York isn't registered with the NY bar association. A total scam ! So beware of those two names as well.

I just received text messages from this guy from interracialsingles.com; goes by "superdec"; address is seekingheart65@yahoo.com; claims he lives in Houston, TX, and is working in Nigeria on crude oil extractions. He said the Nigerian officials came to collect taxes on his project and he had to pay them $5000. Asked me to send him money; what a scam artist

I found this #1110440601 on my husbands phone as outgoing texts.Saw he had referred to them as babydoll,then he(my husband)asked them to start e-mailing.It has me worried that he was trying to cheat while I was out of town.Is this really a scam number,or do I need to worry for real?

this girl has been using everything possable to stalk and haras my son, her name is Kim Wendel and we have reported her to the police and to our service provider AT&T, we would really like this issue to stop, we do not have a yahoo account so we can not report this abuse

DO NOT TRUST I received text messages from this number saying he works for a place called mobilgroupofcompanyinc. He replied to my craigslist job posting ad saying I can make up to $1,200 per month working at home. He keeps sending short texts to my phone but i cannot get an email or phone number out of him or what the job entitles. Defintally some kinda of foreingner triing to pull some kind of a scam.

I feel pretty stupid. I meet this person on an online dating website, Tagged. We exchanged yahoo e-mail accounts. This is the number that came up after he started texting me. He said he is a Staff Sergeant in the Army based in Iraq. He asked me to buy a computer for him. Of course, I didn't, but I kept asking information about him and it was vague. His e-mails seemed to be written in a foreign dialect. I also wondered how he could text so fast. This all makes sense now. It never dawned on me that he was e-mailing from Yahoo. I am so happy to found this site. His name is Mike Steven Cline, or what he goes by.
