I actually think its aliens getting ready to beam people up to their Starship waiting just outside the earths atmosphere, who will then clone you and send you back to earth. I heard when they call they can transmit a signal into your brain to make you do things that they want. I heard that if you pick the phone up,You should Bark like a dog, and it will interfere with the signal. I think Im going to cancel my phone with AT&T today. I could wake up in the middle of the night when they call and answer by accident. Be WARY !!!!!!!
1-123-456-7890 calls on a daily basis. It is pretty sad that we have to pay for caller ID to screen our calls. What kind of ridiculous number is that?
I have a way I block such calls, you must have caller ID to know the number, I log it into my phone's phone book as 'DNA (no not answer) and the company name or what kind of call it is like 'DNA Survey Co' and the number and then go down to what kind of ring I want this one to have, and select NO RING! This takes care of any future calls, it appears to be ringing in to them but doesn't to me. My phone lights up when a call comes in and when it's not ringing I ignore it. I do the same on my cell as I often have my home phone forwarded to my cell, and why should I pay for their call? Good Luck!
I had 2 calls with that number. The calls were from a government office in south California that is trying to interview qualify applicants. They left me a voicemail with local number, however the number show up was 123-456-7890
I have gotten quite a few calls from this number. If I pick up, there is no one at the other end, (PC caller); however a couple of times my answering machine picked up and, because the PC can't distinguosh between the anwering machine and a person anwering, I got most of the con recorded. "Yur eligble to lower your intrest rate but the eligibility period is coming to a close, press one to lower your interest rates". Pure scam, I will try what another post suggested the next time I get the call and keep pressing the "#" key.
I keep getting the same call to. Finally someone was at the other end.Identified themself as PRIMUS CANADA. offering long distance rates.
They call at least once a day so I finally answered. After a long pause of me waiting and some weird electronic noise the caller had an accent and asked for my wife and addressed her by her maiden name.I said she is not available and do not call me every again and hung up. hopefully this worked. Aside from the fact of being a telemarketer a number like that disqualifies you right off the start.
I got a phone call from a number like this saying that they were "Rogers wireless with a great promotion package!!" for me. After thinking that maybe it was legit, they then started asking me questions..Phone number.. (Are they not calling it?)Address.. (If it was ROGERS they would have my address for varification/security purposes) SOCIAL INSURANCE NUMBER AND DATE OF BIRTH.yeah okay....uhhhh SCAM??I then got the number and called rogers to see if they had any such promotion that these Albanian men, by the names of Bob, Scott, and Rob...ALBANIAN MEN with those names?? NO WAY!! Rogers said they had NO such promotions and blocked the number from my phone. I then reported it to the police.I THINK that they got my phone number from a website called.."PHONE ZOO" where you create ringtones and what not..after a while i started doing a test, and every time I would create a ring tone, a day later i would get a phone call.DO NOT use PHONEZOO.COM
I'm in the Maritimes as well and am getting these calls all day and night. I'm getting sick of hearing the phone ring. I don't answer as I have caller ID. I don't have the ability to block it. If anyone has an idea on that, please let me know. My phone company won't do anything and can't block it.
