Got a test message from this number. On my iPhone it appears like "1 (410) 100-001" and the text read:FRM:notification@myatt.netMSG:Thank you! Your Wireless account have been credited with 63 USD. Only available for line ending XXXX [last four digits of my phone number] Please visit: is.gd/XkYs9XI was certain it had to be fake. I went to the link address in Safari and it brought up a page that looked like the AT&T wireless login page. I carefully inspected the URL and it was not AT&T. I closed Safari and logged into the actual AT&T app just to make sure there wasn't any messages. It's a scam. I checked that URL later from a computer and it has since been pulled down and flagged as spam.
I got almost the same one and they swear it real I had husband and wife texting it's a scam from the UK THIS FRIEDRICH MAYRHOFER LIVES IN BRITISH COLUMBIA and he tells me I have to deal with the alliance of Leicester bank in uk..and gives me a funny number ..I researched the number and it was wrong..what a scam artist
I received a text message last night at 7:09 pm from 5713640016@text.att.net Subject: If this is not done within 10h we will be forced to suspend your account with www.customiphone.org sending phone number is: 1410100001.(Please Note: No accounts with iphone or att.net. So, I contacted my cell phone carrier, and the account was up to date. Important, I don't have text messaging on my cell contract. But, maybe someone with an iphone tried to message me. So, I blocked or turned off the text feature on my cell phone. Like I said... I don't have text messaging on my cell phone. But, my computer home page is (att.net) which links my internet viewing. So, to prevent telephone spam...I'm going to remove my cell phone number from website profiles. Why, it can amount to unwanted cell phone time and potential overage charges.)
