Received text at 3:50 a.m.All that showed was:1(410)100-0021 of 2FRM:Andrew MortimerI did not open the text as God only knows what kind of spam or malware could be connected to it.I called my cell carrier, AT&T at their 1-800-331-0500 customer service line and was pleasantly surprised a U.S. Citizen answered and helped me. She was able to see that the text came from a email via computer sent to my phones email address. She then told me how to change my preferences on the website.I also just learned today all AT&T phones have email addresses. It's your 10 digit wireless number followed by @mms.att.netso for example: 555-555-5555@mms.att.netI asked her how to block spam texts. So here is what you do if you have AT&T:Go to AT&T website, click on wireless support, click on blocking calls & messages to your wireless phone under Common Wireless Questions(there's a yellow phone and hand image next to it) go to Stop telemarketer calls and spam messages and click on the blue sentence that says Learn how to block messages sent to your device's default email address, it will explain in detail what's going on. Then after you read that, click on Register for Message Preferences written in blue, read it and you should be ok.You will have to register, but it is a legitimate site. I did not want to include links because I would never trust or click on a strangers link and you should never do the same.I hope this helps you honest folks out there who are so tired of garbage coming through our phones. If we can all be proactive we can make a big dent or even stop the scammers.

Recieved a text from this number claiming it was for a local singles meet up with links to a profile page.

The text message had multiple numbered pictures with lewd names and comments. I deleted three texts and put Stop. Unsubscribe Me. with two other texts.

I got a call from phone number 1-410-100-002 telling me : FRM: 5713640016@text.att.net SUBJ:New MSG:j>(upside down question mark)If this is not done within 10h,we will be forced to suspend your accounT/,. www.customiphone.orgI have no idea who these people are and they are wasting my valuable text time every time they text me a message. I have since blocked them.

Received a scam message from this number reading:" FRM:5713640016@text.art.netSUBJ: NewMSG:I>¿if this is not done within 12h,. We will forced to suspend your Account.WWW.mobile diligence.com"
