Got the same windows caller today at 1245 EST

Called today, told them it was a scam, quite calling, caller called me names and threatened harm to my wife. Filed police report. Initiated call blocking.

Obviously a scam.

Ron from windows told me he would wait while I called the police. I am home sick today and they called three times. I answered the third time. Trying to fix my computer. I don't own a working computer at home. Only an iPad

Caller was foreign i said hello twice caller said it was about my computer.Have gotten to of these in last 2 days

Indian guy called 2 days ago claiming he was from Windows, and warned me that they had detected my computer had something malicious. Told him I wasn't interested, and that I would take care of it myself if true. He insisted that I turn on my computer right away. I told him no, and he said he would call later. They call the day after, and I don't answer. A few minutes ago they call again. Immediately told him that I wasn't interested, and to remove me from the calling list. He just hung up. Hopefully they stop after this. I wonder how are they trying to deceive people? Asking for a credit card number? Making you download bogus software?

yes they even call at midnight, and many more times, always saying they are from windows.

Listen, that number picked up on my caller ID and Comcast, as: 159-658-4216. BTW, that phony number is NOT blockable in any way, shape, or form. Check your stats again.

I just reported this phony number 159-658-4216, to the FCC!!! HA HA!
