I have just received a call from 202-329-5143. It says that I would win a cruise for bahamas if I respond to a survey. I did not answer to the survey and I pressed "9" to declined the offer. I'm curious to know about what was this survey...
This is to answer Caroline: In order to block a number from your telephone, you will need the Call Block feature on your phone or handset. I didn`t have it on my phone before but now my new handsets have it and it is well worth the investment for me. I have 24 less numbers pestering me since Aug 2012 and still adding.
Got a call today from 202-329-5143 no message and my call display says "Dist. of Columbia"
I just received this call and it was dead air. I have my number on the "do not call list" but since I put it on, we receive more calls than ever! Very frustrating...Gerr
This marketer has called my number in the past. Tonight they were at it again. It is a recording saying that I can get a free cruise for 2 to Nassau, Bahamas if I take a survey. I pushed 9 to be taken off their calling list and this resulted in 12 more follow up calls in the space of 22 mins!!! Sometimes I would pick up and it would be silent. Have put in a complaint with CRTC but dont know if this will help as the call originates from the U.S.
