I just got the dead air call from the 202-329-5143 number again. When I called it back it says that it's a Verizon Wireless number that has either been changed, disconnected or no longer in service. So I spent 20 minutes on hold with Verizon to insist they resolve this very annoying situation and to no surprise they told me there is nothing they can do. GO FIGURE!!!!! They claim there is no way of tracking the number....which I don't understand because I am giving them the number that is calling me. I just want them to find out who and why they are calling several times a week....and hanging up!!!! The best advise Verizon could give me was to put my number on a do not call list. What good is that going to do if they don't know who is calling me. Unbelievable, for such a well known company they offer HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I wonder how long Verizon would put up with annoying hang ups and dead air calls from Bell Canada....lol
Invest in a Panasonic 6.0 landline phone with 2 wireless phones for around $100.00..iT HAS A CALL BLOCK FEATURE FOR UP TO 30 #s and a featurethat enables you to turn off all your calls by setting the "no ring" feature for all those late night calls..the answering feature still works so when you wake up you can see who called during the night..It really works. The call block stops all rings at 1..All they get is dead air on their end..
DO NOT CALL LIST MEANS DO NOT CALL. I AM TIRED OF COMPANIES TRYING TO SELL THEIR PRODUCT ETC. DEAD AIR WHEN ANSWERED PHONE.

they keep calling me asking if i am or know sombody
"Greater Nevada Credit Union Fraud Prevention" called and left message. We called bank directly, no prob with our cards or account. Incidentally, we always get a bunch of scam calls after posting something to Craigs List or FB Market Place.

This number comes up as a match to my name on Microsoft search results, and with a different age than MY true age. There is no other ME who has the same first, middle and last name spelled like this that I EVER came across. It's definitely a scam!

Scotia bank fraud Dept calling about a change to my account
I just tried to log into my SS account and could see that this number was trying to get a code to gain access. This country is OUTTA CONTROL. Hey Elmo is this you and your teen gang?
SCAM - Caller with Indian accent claimed to be calling from Barclays credit card fraud department. Asked for personal information. Just hang up.
This number made an unauthorized charge on my PAYPAL account. I had no dealings with them.
