I JUST RECIEVED A CALL FROM THAT (202) 657-4227 CLAIMING I HAD BEEN APPROVED FOR A GRANT WHEN I ASKED HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO PAY THEY TOLD ME NOTHING THEN TURNED AROUND AND TOLD ME 259.00 THEY I LAUGHED AND THEY HUNG UP. THESE B***HES NEED TO BE CAUGHT AND LET ME GET A HOLD OF THEM

I got the same call last night from a man with an arab accent that told me I had been selected along with 20,000 others in my area to recieve $7,500 government grant because I was a good citizen and I had not declared Bankruptcy and that in order to receive this grant I had to go to western union. They knew my email, DOB, but had the wrong address. Then I was given a phone number to call and they would give me information I would need to collect my grant (a confirmation code). then they told me I had to go to the western union with 3 things a cell, $249 and a license. I called them back and asked how to verify it was a government office, and the woman got agitated with me immediately, and told me to check the website www.grants.gov I looked up the phone number and numerous things popped up about scams, so here I am. Do not fall for it.The number the they used was 206 657 4227

Just got the same call at my job!!! What do you have to do to report them? Cant the Goverment get them for fraud so no one else gets taken advantage of?

I was given the same information send $240.00 dollars by Western Union,and I would receive $7000 dollars thank God I read the information on the web. J. King Lufkin Texas.

This is EXACTLY what just happened to me! My husband said I should call them back and tell them I am from a government agency and that I was going to investigate the scam! I am thankful that I did not fall for it, and am sorry for those that did. The worst part is I really could have used the money to go visit my granddaughter that was just born on Monday..She lives in NH and I live in FL...Good luck to all of you.

This is a scam do not fall for this, they say u can get a grant for 7200 just send 240.00 three the western union so I told her grants are free so she got mad and hung the phone up

Same exact thing happened to me! They called the b**** got an attitude wen I asked her how can I be sure that ths i s legit. Thn a month later I was believeing tht it was legit. Got my little social security check of 695.00 and was about to do it. Luckily I couldn't remember the website address to thm. So I googled it & ths is exactly what I said: phone number 2026574227 is to what website address & lo & behold ths page is what I pulled up. Thank God for google. Dnt kno wat id do with out it. Id be lost if I didn't hvr my google! Lol!

Recieved this scam call on my cell phone. Government grant.

Thats some bull [***]. These people want to get them selfs shot. We searched the telephone number and it is all a scam. You better keep your money in your pocket.....

Complete scam when I asked the lady who she worked for again and what was going on she had an attitude problem and repeate herself over and over again. And I called the number rite back like she said to talk to a supervisor and she answered.. Don't get fooled by this scam she and all of the rest are all fakes.
