She said hello I am "so in so" from Prairie Research....I responded..."hello, I am "so in so" just sitting down to eat my supper". She was at a loss for words and said goodbye.
Some Prairie Research company calling between the hours of 3-8pm everyday. I called them back and left a message telling them to put me on the do not call list and really not interested doing any survey as I have once before. Sick of these calls already.
Prairie Research Associates. This is a highly respectable firm, working for government and the private sector. Established and headed by a member of the Department of Economics at the University of Manititoba several decades ago. Polite and flexible survey takers. For me, as a senior, the questions were fired a bit too fast and needed to be repeated occasionally.
Great website! Nice to know I'm not the only one getting abused by unwanted calls---on a cell phone, no less. Used to be that those of us with cell phones got no solicitations. Now, all bets are, apparently, off.
CALL RECEIVED AT 8:30pm. ON PHONE ON ANOTHER CALL SO DID NOT ANSWER. WILL BLOCK ANY CALL IN FUTURE. AND PROVIDE ANY FURTHR INFORMATION I RECEIVE.
They have called us 2 times a day,listening intently as I say "hello" a few times.I wait one more time for any kind of sound and "no one's home" upstairs in their heads(aka a dumb idiot on the line)and won't answer back.From now on, when they call..I'm not even answering and will just hang up the second they call.Rejects.
If you call the number back and wait for the message they identify themselves as the research centre mentioned in the other posts. You can leave your telephone number to be removed from their call list. This is what we ended up doing, as every time they called our home, no one seemed to be at the other end - really annoying first thing in the morning, especially with babies in the house!

Call came in at 3:41P.M. on February 9, 2026. No spoken message was left. I checked the missed call box that read not in service. I checked the phone and there was a dial tone. I assumed the call was a scam.

I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.
Looking for a person (that was not me) about a legal matter.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.
