Called while I was out, didn't leave a message. Area code is for Birmingham, Alabama and seeing as I only know one person in the Southeast and he lives in Arkansas I'm guessing this was probably a telemarketer...
I received a call from this number. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I called it back and a woman who barely spoke English answered with a simple hello. Not sure what they wanted, but it wasn't anyone I know. Probably a telemarketer or scam. I hung up.
Philippines call center using a USA POP (point of presence) in Alabama to solicit on behalf of a pharmacy in India.
My Caller ID displayed "SPAM." I picked up. They said, "hello." Then, they hung up. Rude.
This is a known scam that will never leave a message and will only tell you the purpose of the disturbing annoying phone call which is to try and convince you that you belonged to a VIP Prescription Pharmacy Program from anything from xanex to oxycodine shipped direct to your door and then take your credit card information and walls " your identity and credit have just been stolen.
Canadian Pharmacy they said .... but he sounded very very foreign. When I said put my number on do not call. He hung up.

Person is telling me he is from Cox and that Cox has special offers. I asked about the offers and person saying he needs my Cox, forgot ? to verify that I had a Cox prescription. I hang up!
